Get into the Christmas spirit with EPOC’s winter weekend Night event
Adjacent to the M62 motorway network, or by the 283 Bradford bus to Dewsbury.
Our event centre is Miss Molly Moos Ice Cream Parlour, in the Nutter Lane Car Park.
Please stay to socialise, and support the cafe, who are opening especially to provide hot drinks, snacks and toilets for us.
Planners Notes: This is a small & not very technical area. Unfortunately we are unable to use the fields and barn area near the upper car park due to a SEND event taking place. This has all been marked as out of bounds on the map. Many places can be very wet and muddy so shoes with a good grip are highly recommended. The very short course & the long course both visit control 90 near the end of the course. Please note there is a small bit of path mapped nearby which doesn’t exist but the control is in the correct place. A map with a correction will be displayed near assembly and at the start.
Courses for all ages and abilities: Please check which class you need to run in if you wish to count in the YHOA Night league. Touch free punching will be enabled.

Parking will be tight: Please try to car share and note camper vans cannot park here as there is a height barrier. Some parking is available on Nutter Lane itself.
Terrain: A mixture of sloping parkland, woodland and fields and a good path network. The area is used by a great many dog walkers especially in the early evenings. It’s possible that cyclists and horseriders will be present.
Start times: 17:00-18.00. Courses close 19.30 prompt to conform to YHOA rules.
Start / finish is adjacent to parking & assembly.
Safety: A comprehensive risk assessment has been carried out by the organiser. The risks associated with competing in an outdoor environment are significant and need to be taken seriously by all competitors who take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety. Parents are particularly asked to emphasise these points with their children. If you have a medical condition that first aiders should know about in an emergency, please contact the organiser with details, in confidence. These details will only be used for the purposes of this event and will be deleted/destroyed afterwards.
